Anyone over age 35 who has increased bleeding(either in amount or frequency) needs to have a biopsy of their endometrium to assure that they don't have cancer.

A pregnancy test will answer that question.

An increase in bleeding(Frequency, duration, or amount) is not a sign of normal menopause. Decrease in bleeding (frequency, duration, AND amount) is a sign of normal menopause.
