Dr., I am 47, 5ft 11/2 and 176lbs. I have four children by C-section. My periods have been very irregular, few days duration, mostly with very dark thick blood discharge for almost a year and for the past few months an irregular spotting. No smell but Ive been wearing a thin pad every day just in case.

Occasionally I also feel a little hot for a few minutes; and a few times had an anxiety attack and sleeplessness for no reason.

My question is - is the discharge normal for pre-M - is this what is meant by the articles I read on pre-M? Thank you. Riang.
