Thanks for your reply. One more question....I am now fairly certain that this is a UTI, and not complications from my gallbladder surgery. (Symptoms are: burning, pain in lower pelvic area, pain on both sides of back, fever...) The problem is that it's now the weekend, and my dr's office is closed. What can I do to help myself over the weekend until I can see my doc on Mon? I've heard cranberry juice is good. Is this true? Thanks for your help.
