This is good advice. Kristy, the amount of pain, bleeding and vomiting with your daughter's cycle is NOT normal, despite what the doctor says. I suppose it's "normal" in the sense that she's not dying, but this has to be affecting her quality of life and must be affecting her schoolwork to some extent. Get it fixed now before these problems have a detrimental effect on her college studies and later, her career. If the doctor doesn't sympathize with quality of life issues, then it's time for a new one.
