All birth control pills cause retention of up to as musch as 4-5 pints of water. Each pint of water will weigh one pound. This weight will go off when you take the placebos and then return when you start the next package. It is NOT fat. If you eat no more than before and exercise as much as before, your weight will not change other than the above.
