Hi, i also have intersitical cystitis. Dr's are very vague about giving any explanations about it because the cause is not yet understood. There are theories about it acting up from hormones. And for the pain in general my URO said that since we have IC then our nerves our hyper-sensitive down there. That's the best explanation i could get. I don't know about the cramping you have though, but when i have PMS and my period my IC flares up bad. Have you been to Interstitial Cystitis Network.com? There are great forums there and you can get lots of help. If your not already using it you should check it out. :) At Tue, 15 Oct 2002, stephanie wrote: >
