Question for doctors regarding pain medication for endometriosis

Good afternoon,

I had a diagnostic laparoscopy 2 weeks ago for endometriosis. I do have endo, and also had my appendix removed because there was endo wrapped around it. The path report showed that I actually had appendicitis. The doctors were unable to cauterize all of the endo, it was on my ureter and my artery there, he was afraid of doing more harm than good. Anyways, I am still having the pain from tne endo and a bit from the surgery. I would like to know what pain meds besides narcotics that I can take for the pain? Motrin 800 doesnt seem to work for me at all. I am taking 6-8 Hydrocodone per day right now, and all it does is take the edge off. I am getting to the point of depression now, the pain and all the narcotics are getting to me emotionally.

Can you please suggest any other pain medications that I can talk to my doctor about? Thank you!!!
