Re: Debunking progesterone creamsFrom: Laurie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 14 Oct 2002 21:12:16 -0500 (CDT)
The FDA is not a scientific organization. they take money from all sorts of special interest froups. i am severely allergic to MSG and they continue to say it as safe as baking powder and salt!!! they conducted a supposedly scientific study of MSG allergy with pills containing MSG and a placebo. However the idiots that they are put MSG in the placebo pills as well. I wouldn't trust a single thing that comes from the FDA. if they say it is bad a would bet it is good and if they say it is good i would bet that it is bad. They are just pissed that they aren't getting their kickbacks. Alternative medicine usually works waaayyy better for me than prescription junk. AND it usually isn't in a toxic mix of fillers, binders and food coloring! If a product works for one person it is worth it. I would say FDA approved HRT and dare I say it chemical birth control all probably have much much worse side effects than progesterone creams. Even if it is merely a placebo effect it is still working for the people using it and if not they have every right to stop. So give it a break!
