We have children , I have had the IUD COPPER IUD's in the past, but they make my periods too heavy, I had the Mirena IUD put in by my OB/Gyno 4 weeks ago, I have had spotting and bleeding since I got it 4 weeks ago, how long will it be before the bleeding stops and jut have a period as normal., or in some cases I have read your period stop. Also is the Mirena IUD alright for your health it only has a small amount of prog/14mg per day over 5 years I think.
