I have been prescribed Marvelon as a contraceptive, and have been told to take it at the start of my period, and it will become effective after 2 weeks. I am currently half way through my cycle and wondered what would happen if I started taking it now? Will it have any other effect apart from changing the date I start my period on, and possibly causing spotting? Next message: Harvey S.
