I'm not a medical professional, but know a lot about pregnancy... I agree with your doctor. You do not seen to have a progesterone problem. With your ultrasound findings (abnormal sac and fetus) it would be a good idea to go for genetic counseling/testing (both you and your partner), as well as a full work up for repeat miscarriages. Progesterone supplements are not going to sustain a pregnancy when there is something wrong with the baby.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, and I hope you get some answers soon. Maybe a doctor here can shed some light on this, too.
