Reply: John Essien MD: "Re: Urgent Help!" Im meeting my steady boyfriend tonight (after not seeing him for weeks) and Im sure "stuff" will happen... but I have problem and I dont know what to do! I started having a yeast infection about ten days ago and went on Monistat 3. I finished my medication on the 8th (3 days ago) and I Will Admit It did Get Alot Better (I dont wake up nights crying anymore) but the irritation is still there. Should I buy more monistat or just wait for it to go away on its own (will it)? how long does a yeast infection last (I forgot how long I had it last time)? I do have some more external cream left and I do put it on every morning and night, but Im almost out and the yeast, even though ALOT better, is not GONE! what is going on? what should I do?
