Recurrent MiscarriageFrom: Audra (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 11 Oct 2002 17:38:31 -0500 (CDT)
I am 30 and am going through my third consecutive miscarriage in 14 months. All of them have been the same. I go for my first sono at 7-8 weeks, and the gestational sac is smaller than it should be and the fetus is " amorophous" aand " not viable". I have an HMO and they don't think that it is progesterone because I ovulate, concieve and implant. This last pregnancy I asked them to check my progesterone in the 4th week, and it was 41, and my Dr. said it is good. Can we rule out a short leutal phase? My d&c is sceduled for next week and the Dr. has orders a chromosomal study for the fetus. What do you think. Should I be refered to a specialist. It is getting frustrating. Any advis would be helpful. THanks,
