Since I had gotten one Lupron injection, I had not had a period since August 1. Yesterday, I had a bit of spotting and some terrible shooting pains on both sides of the pelvis. This morning I am having some heavy bleeding. I understand that breakthrough bleeding is a possibility when starting on this pill. However, I am supposed to be using the Alesse continuously (always on active pills, never on inactive pills) so that I will not get a period. I guess I am concerned because the BTB sort of defeats that purpose. Is it normal to have BTB after only 15 days on this pill? Thanks.
