Hormonal imbalances affecting Kidney Function?

After 2 injections of Depro Provera 10yrs ago I suddenbly developed a renal calculi in my left kidney. This was unfortunately misdiagnosed for over a year resulting in a 2cm calculi. Throughout this time I experienced numerous UTI's due to a blocked uretha, lots of colic attacks and had lots of white clumps in my urine. The colic and infections were always worse towards the end of my menstrual cycle and diminished with the bleeding. Since the stone was removed by lithotripsy 8/9yrs ago I have continually experienced problems with kidney pain around the time of my period. The pain is not like colic and I do not get any UTI's but do still get white clumps in my urine. The pain I experience is so uncomfortable that I cannot sleep two nights a month even with painkillers. As the blood flow of my period decreases the pain gets very severe and then ceases until the same time in my next cycle. The pain is not stabbing like colic and does not appear in the urethra at the front as it did with the colic but is more an inflamation feeling. I loose all the colour in my face very quickly, my temperature shoots up and I generally feel very unwell ontop of the kidney pain. My urine flow becomes restricted but not infected and when the symptoms subside my flow goes back to normal (after a period of increased frequency.)I have not had Depro Provera or taken the contraceptive pill since this started. Can anyone help point me in the right direction for lines of investigation as I seem to just be drawing blanks. Are there hormones released at this point of a womens cycle that could cause these symtoms and/or the formation of calculi?
