Hello, yesterday I had a papsmear test that was really uncomfortable. i don't think i've had a plastic speculum used on me before. the speculum opening my vagina hurt the entire time. i didn't have any problem with the scraping, but i was really freaked out when i saw what came out, because apparently i did bleed. should i be worried about the speculum pain? i told my doctor that it hurt but she didn't say much about it. thank you speculum victim Please be aware that all e-mail on this forum is archived and can be viewed at http://forums.obgyn.net/womens-health and is accessible to anybody on the internet including internet search engines.
