Question about PCOSFrom: Michael (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 05 Oct 2002 09:30:32 -0500
I am a 29 years old and have one child, my husband and I have been trying to conceive another child. My Dr.has told me that he thinks I might have PCOS- Polycystic Ovarion Syndrome. Last week I had some labs drawn, a Thyroid, Progresterin and Prolacton. I was not given a reason for these labs, and because some of them need to go out it will be a couple of weeks before I will know anything. I have already had an ultrasound that found 6 cysts all 1-2 cenimeters on my ovary. Will the Labs help determine if in fact I do have PCOS? Please respond to MerryMoo2001@yahoo.com Thank you - Carrie
