Re: Scared - desperately need advice - do I get a LEEP or not? Isn't a colposcopy trustful?

Dr., thank you. The OBGYN who wants me to have the LEEP now said it is standard to have one after a normal colcoscopy since the pap came back "epithelial cell abnormality, atypical squamous cells, cannot exclude high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion" in order to completely exclude cancer, because they argue the cancer is in a place that the colcoscopy and biopsy "did not reach." My primary thinks this is overkill and I should seek yet another opinion.
