Hi Sara:

I'm not a Dr, but from what I have read, fibroids are estrogen responsive, so growth rate usually depends on the amount of estrogen available. In other words, some grow quickly, and some grow slowly. If they are symptomatic, then they are sometimes removed.

If you are concerned, ask for an ultrasound. Best wishes.
