Thank you for your respond. I have never been tested for HPV virus and when I ask the doctor (who perform the colposcopy) he said that it is not necessary because they assume I have it and that such test is expensive. I am not satisfied with the exam at all I feel like he was in a hurry and I didn't have the chance to ask him some questions. My biggest fear is that as you probably know Pap Smear is not 100 % accurate (cells could be missed) and therefore I even in that very moment might have cancer already and not knowing it. I wonder if it was more serious would the doctor have told me at the time of the exam or may be not. All this is taking it's toll, it affects my work I can't sleep can't do much of anything. Have you heart of Thin Pap, they say it is much more accurate so may be I will insist to do that test from now on and more often may be two times per year. How is the test for HPV called? >
