If you don't want ot get pregnant I would not stay on the same pill no longer than you have to..Your body can come immune to the pill. My ex-mother-n-law had 2 kids 20 and 23 at that time. She had been on the same pill for 18 years and when her youngest son turned 21 she was pregnant again on the pill.The doctors told her that her body was immune to the pill and that's how she became pregnant 18 years after she thought her first two sons were already grown.He is 3 now and healthy as ever. She had her tubes tied after this one.Still not to say she can't get pregnant it's not 100% effective..Good Luck
