Curious, I don't think it's related to surgical techniques, but it might be related to after surgery care (or lack of) or simply to the individual. I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago and c sections several years prior to that and never had a gas pain. And, no one I know has had gas pains after surgery, but I know it occurs. Where are you reading about this experience- from a message board?
