Sometimes the pain spreads throughout my vulva and up towards my bellybutton, but the pain is always the worst at my clitoris. It comes on very suddenly, with no apparent rhyme or reason. It has gotten to the point in the last few months that it happens nearly every day, instead of just a couple of times a year. My gynecologist doesn't know what's wrong with me, but did mention something about a possibility that it is my bladder or urethra that is spasming - I did suffer from numerous UTI's as a child and had a procedure where my urethra was stretched when I was seven. I don't know what to make of all of this.
