We are not aware of any exposure he had through blood. Is the only other way through sexual intercourse? To my knowledge I am his only sexual partner ever. I was diagnosed with HPV once - can this be related to Hep B? Also, I had an emergency c-section 12 years ago (under general anasthetic). I was never told that I received blood. Do such surgeries routinely involve giving blood to the patient? My primary concern is his health and the possible transmission to our children, but I have this nagging worry about how he acquired HepB. Thank you for any insight you can give me.
