The same thing happened to me about a year ago-I had brownish staining for about 3-4 days after my Pap-it had never happened before. When I called the doctor she said it was because she used the ThinPrep Pap, which involves a brush instead of a swab-gives a better sample, but boy, do you spot afterward!
