This bleeding is painless and bright red and watery in consistency. I also bleed after intercourse - sometimes it is just scant and other times it lasts 2-3 days. Lately when I have a bowel movement, I bleed (vaginally) as well. I had 2 pap smears in April - one showed inflammation and the second came back abnormal. The doctor thought I might have an infection and prescribed me flagyl in July 2002. I still have the symptoms and am due for a follow-up pap in 2 weeks (October 2002). I am 38 years old and interested in any information you can give me.
