Important question about late ovulation and pregnancy... need answer soon! Previous message: Tara: "Questions about having a child" Hi, Sorry to sound so desperate but I have an question that I need a quick answer to. I had a miscarried two months ago, and we started ttc again. I didn't think I ovulated and I took a pregnancy test to make sure that was negative. I am now 10 days late, and I was going to go to the doctor to get a shot to make my period start, but I decided to make sure that I wasn't ovulating or pg. I found out that ovulation prediction tests turn positive if there is HCG in the systom, with my last miscarriage and from researching about it. Anyways, I took the test this morning and it showed with the line as dark as the test line, and positive. I am taking a pg test later today to make sure I'm not pg. But, my question is this, if I AM ovulating on cycle date 38 should I consider that the egg is too weak to fertilize and not try to get pregnant.
