For Dr. Braun, itching and cramping in my uterus-does this indicate endo on the nerves? From: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 19 Sep 2002 00:07:38 -0700 (PDT)
Hello Dr. Braun, I know it's late here where I am but I have a question. I tried to see if I could find this in the archives and found nothing. I started to have cramping in my uterus again (started as a result of some light bleeding which is now almost nill 4 days later) on Mon nite and now I'm going in to almost 4 days with this. Well, now I have a new symptom that I'm wondering about that I wanted your opinion on before I talk to my dr about when I see her again next. This new symptom is itching. The itching is occurring right around the area where my uterus is. I know that there are nerves there but I can't remember the names of them right now. Sometimes the itching will occur by itself such as when the cramping is down for a while and other times it will be in conjunction with it. With this itching it also seems to sometimes run to the part of my uterus close to my ovaries especially on the left side. Also sometimes this itching feels a little like someone is pricking me with a sewing pin or a very small needle. This itching started to be come more noticeable Tues nite and now also in to part of Wed. My question to you is this: Could this itching along with the cramping indicate that endo might be attaching itself to the nerves around there? Thanks for your time and sorry for the length of this message. Have a nice rest of the week and weekend. ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
