Not a doctor here but have had similar problems. ANY unexplained weight loss should be checked out, and depending on your size, 10lbs is a good amount of weight. In my case, I lost about 25 lbs over a two month period. Turns out that I had reflux (GERD) and I could not eat without feeling full very fast and I had no appetite. Once I started medicine for GERD, I got much better. By the way, I really had no symptoms of this (no heartburn at all) other than loss of appetite. But I went through many tests to make sure it was nothing bad.
