Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Abnormal Monthly PainFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 17 Sep 2002 15:36:03 -0500 (CDT)
I have had this reoccuring pain for almost a year now. I have been to two gyn's and noone can find the answers. At least every month, sometimes during ovulation and sometimes constant I have an internal burning throbbing pain that extends to the outside of my vagina. Sometimes the pain is associated with a clear stringy discharge which I was told was due to my overactive cervix. I have been tested for everything you can possibly imagine and everything is negative. I recently just had an internal and external sonogram done and it came back negative for everything. It showed a few small ovarian cysts, but the doctor said that is nothing and birth control pills would help control them. I have taken the pill before but it does not help and I don't like the way the pill makes me feel either. He says the pain is normal and some women experiance it. I have been taking pyridium to ease the pain. It works most of the time. I just can't live with this anymore, and no one seems to be able to relate to this or know the cause or the cure. If you have any comments, advice, or suggestions I'd be glad to hear! Thank you
