Excessive bleeding with no causeFrom: Tracy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 17 Sep 2002 09:23:36 -0500 (CDT)
I have been bleeding for the last six months. I finally went to the gyno and she put me on birth controls pills to control my period. 46 pills in 21 days, that didn't work. Next we did an ultrasound, nothing found, then endo biopsy, nothing again. Then progestrines then estrogens nothing works to stop this bleeding. Now she wants me to have a hesterectomy. I am 31, 2 beautiful kids and already had a tubal ligation. My flow is very heavy, clots the size of grapes and sometimes larger, horrible back pains. Will a hesterectomy help me? My gyno doesn't know what else to do because we can't figure out what is causing all of my bleeding? Any suggestions as to why I can't stop bleeding? Help me. And yes I am very anemic.
