I've seen 2 doctors about this and i'm still in the dark :(. My first obgyn gave me a episiotomy revision which was a 4th degree cut at 6 months post, he also fixed a small pin sized fistula AND a very painful anal fissure I thank him every day for that Okay so now he tells me my perineum is very thin and it looks good but it don't? I'm so lost on what's going on with my body and trust me I have asked all these questions to them yet i'm still blank..I had these problems before my revision by the way. My perineum is VERY painful to the touch and the right side of my hymenal ring is so painful that sex is out of the question for us and that is really hurting my "pride" as a woman. We already tried a block for my pain but it went away the same day. Okay so now the second doctor who is a specialist tells me I only have 2 options, stay in pain the rest of my life or he can take the fat pad from my labia and graft it around my hymen ring and remove the scar tissue to provide a new blood source. Then he said it probably would still be some what painful if it works at all. How do you feel about this option. What would you do if you had a case like this? I know telling this on a message board is a lot different than talking with your doctor but like i said for 9 months i've been doing that with 2 of them and I still feel like i have not one clue why this is going on. Am I hopeless?
