Jolene,

What is the dose of estrogen in the pill that you are taking? If it's too low for your body that may explain the vaginal dryness. It is normal for some women to have breakthrough bleeding or spot bleeding during the first 3 months of being on the pill. Sometimes it takes going thru several to find the right pill for you.

I know that when I went on the pill continuously (to stop my period) b/c of endo and went on a pill that had a very low dose of estrogen in it not only did I bleed quite a bit but I had vaginal dryness that was very painful and irritating.

I would highly recommend talking to your dr about this and see maybe about trying a different kind of pill but with a little bit of a higher content of estrogen to see if that helps you at all.

Take care and I wish you all the best with trying to find an answer to this situation.
