Cervical Stenosis and Prolonged PeriodsFrom: Alida (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 6 Sep 2002 10:53:32 -0500 (CDT)
I am 40 years old. I have periods that are normal for 5-6 days then I spot for 2 more weeks after that. It started about three years ago after I was diagnosed with cervical stenosis. I have never had any surgeries or any treaments to my cervix. Is continued light bleeding after periods a common problem with cervical stenosis? Also my pap smear results read "Absence/paucity of endocervical/transformation zone component". What does this mean? Is there anywhere I can find information on stenotic cervix?
