If you are taking Aygestin and a estrogen/testosterone compound, I would think you might be getting more than you need OR the norethindrone doesn't sit well with you. The estrogen compound, what is it? > Here is the blurb from the compounding pharmacy: "Biest is a combination of two estrogens: estriol and estradiol. It is most commonly found in a ratio of 80:20, estriol to estradiol. This combination allows for all of the protection of estriol while providing the cardiovascular and osteoporosis benefits along with the vasomotor symptom relief of estradiol." I also use a testosterone cream--don't know the exact dose. The problem is that my doctor doesn't know all that much about hormonal treatment using these compounds, and the main problem I am having is that I am bleeding even at a high dose of Prometrium (up to 400 mg day). So far, I am not bleeding on Aygestin, but I am very bloated and sluggish feeling. I think it is time to find another doctor, but it is not so easy to find someone willing to avoid Premarin, etc. (although it should be easier now since the study was released!) Thanks!
