What does the doctor say? I think Prometrium only comes in 100 and 200 strength capsules. Can aygestin be changed? >From what I've seen on Wyeth's site, it is only norethindrone. If you are taking Aygestin and a estrogen/testosterone compound, I would think you might be getting more than you need OR the norethindrone doesn't sit well with you. The estrogen compound, what is it?

Thanks, Victoria. I may not have been clear. I was not using natural progesterone cream, but rather, Prometrium, a prescription medication. And, the estrogen/testosterone I use is prescribed by my doctor and filled at a compounding pharmacy.

What I am struggling with is that the Aygestin is apparently the same form of progesterone in birth control pills and has some side effects. I would rather stay on Prometrium and adjust the dose, but I don't know if that will do the trick. Thanks.
