There are lots of potential, nuisance-type, side effects, and the package insert that comes with the pill pack should have a complete list. Most or all of these are likely to go away within 2 months of use. Take the first pill of the second pack the day after you take the last pill of the first pack. You will have your period during the last week of the pack, while you are on the placebo pills at the end of the pack.
