I started taking prometrium for irregular bleeding and migraines. doc suspects im not making enough progesterone. (im 37) Her directions say take for 14 days. Its day 11 and I'm spotting, like i did before "normal" periods. Should i stop taking it for this cycle? its the right time for me to menstruate, Im normally between 24-28 days and this is day 24. has it done its job for this cycle? it seems odd to keep taking it if my period is starting. Also, i really like prometrium. First month without a migraine in ages. How long is it safe to take 100mg once daily for 14 days?
