Christal,

Ask the receptionist to put you on the cancellation list and in the mean time let them know that you are having a difficult time with the pain and need some help now.

If they still won't listen find another dr to help you.

But ask to be on the cancellation list. I do this whenever my dr is fully booked. I don't have my repeat pap until Nov but I knew that I was going to have to go back to her office at least one more time before Nov. There's still the possibility that I may have to go in one more time b/c of my particular health problems.

My dr always works to make sure that a patient that needs to be seen sooner than their actual appt if there's a problem.

Hopefully your dr's receptionist will work with you on this.

Take care,

===== Kristy :)

Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
