[Birth Control] bc & VERY light period

I am 24 & have been on ortho novum for quite some time. My periods are always right on time. Three weeks ago, I got married & I was due to be on my period at that time (my green pills). My friend who's a nurse, told me to skip the green pills (sugar pills) & start a new pack & that should push my period back. Instead, I had my period anyway & it lasted 6-7 days instead of the normal 4 or so. So now it's time for my period to be here again. I started my green pills on Sunday, which usually my period comes that day. Wednesday I thought I was starting, but today is Friday, and I have only had very, very minimal bleeding. Two small spots-literally. Is there a chance I could be pregnant or should I have a normal period next week?

The only signs of pregnancy I am experiencing is sleepiness. I want to sleep more when I get home in the evenings, which I have never done.

Please help!

Thanks!
