Should I be concerned with my doc's lack of pain control? I have suspected endo and a large complex cyst on the left side.. surgery is scheduled for Oct. 10 to check things. (D&C and a lapro) In the meantime --I LIVE with constant pain. I am not a wimp by any means, I have given birth to a 9lb. 9oz. baby.. I KNOW pain!!! I work hard physically hard, and I can tolerate pain. But, my doc has given me Motrin 800 then 15# Loritab's 2.5 mg. Neither has helped.. yes, I understand that the loritabs are supposed to be potent. BUT, I have had no relief--if there is any help it's very moderate. I don't see the doc until Oct.1, should I go sooner to talk about the pain? It's unbearable at times. Intercourse is about a thing of the past because I hurt SO severely. Any suggestions anyone? I also have a bulging disc in my lower back and degenerative disc disease. Thanks!
