Hi:

When you go on the pill he will not be able to tell. Some women develop mood swings around the time of their menses, so it's often difficult to know whether or not it is actually pill related. There is nothing done during your first exam to change your body in any way.

I think you are making a very intelligent decision, and keep using those condoms - he'll do it because he thinks it's for contraception, and you'll do it because it's the smart thing to do!
