JP, fyi the generic name is levofloxacin. Levaquin is a trade name and trade names are different in different countries. it's best to refer to the generic name of a drug rather than just the trade name to avoid confusion. especially on internet boards since there are so many people from different countries. you can get the generic name for any medication by plugging the trade name into one of the RX list sites or in a general search engine.
