OT: morphine pills?

Hi,

Just wondering what other women's/doctors'/etc experience has been with the pill form of morphine (morphine sulfate, brand names such as Kadian, MS Contin, etc.) in a lower dose (25-50mg)

Mostly concerned about what the initial and long-term side effects may be. I understand constipation is one of them, but what about other GI effects like nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain? And what about mental status...does it alter your ability to function? Finally, can other medications that contain alcohol (like antihistamines) be taken with this drug? I've read different things from different sources, and couldn't really make out a clear answer.

Thanks!

Kas
