Well everyone is different. For me I was on birth control pills for a year and a half. I stopped taking the pill at the end of a month and got pregnant the next time I ovulated, the next month. I guess it matters on the next time you ovulate. Some women ovulate right after, and some don't ovulate or get back on a regular cycle for a year. It varies.
