Re: Irregular periods - endo or perimenopause?

How urgent should I consider the irregular bleeding? Right now it's just a nuisance. Should I wait a few more cycles and see if my body corrects itself or should I insist upon an appointment right away? Considering all the tests that were run a short while ago (with neg results), they might not want to see me until my next yearly appointment. Since my symptoms are mild, my gyn is pretty hesitant at doing any invasive testing.

My progesterone level wasn't checked with the blood work (only estradol, TSH, & FSH). I've been reading about natural progesterone cream being used for irregular periods. Should I investigate that?

I still have the left ureter intact. My gyn didn't want to touch the adhesion there because he was afraid of causing more problems. He said if it starts giving me problems (numerous kidney infections, etc.) I should go to a urologist. I only pointed that out so you'd know I still have active adhesions inside. There was a spot on my bowel he zapped with the laser and the scar tissue occasionally gives me pain if I get constipated.
