But what I am going to say it is that it's YOUR health that he's playing with. If I was in your situation I would tell him straight out that he doesn't have a say in the matter. Go and get your exam with or without his consent, which you DO NOT NEED. You and he both are going to live in major regret if something that could be detected with this exam is over looked and allowed to possibly turn into a life threatening situation just because your boyfried doesn't 'like the idea of someone touching you down there.' Tell him all the risks of not getting the exam and ask him if he is 'comfortable' with that. And, I think if he is willing to gamble with what could possibly be your life, than he isn't worth the trouble.
