4th degree tearFrom: vanessa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 1 Jan 1998 06:55:27 -0600
dear womens health Last year I had a 7 lb baby girl and the dr.wasn't there to deliver her although he did deliver the placenta. I had a 4th degree tear and he refused to fox it after the nurse told him how serious it was and he walked out and 7 weeks later I had to have major surgery ( spincteroplasty, perineoplasty ) Now a year later it I am having complications again. I am starting to have no control over my bladder and bowels and another ob is going to have to do some more repair work. Is there any hope that things will get better plus my sex life with my husband has decreased alot. What can I do? \ vanessa Wendt
