I have been diagnosed with the same disorder, I had a lap done when they thought it was endometriosis. I have seen several different doctors about this disorder and have decided to keep my uterus. I was diagnosed when I was 17, I am now 22. I have been told that it is not common, and it has doesn't really do any damage to your uterus. I was told that there were several things that can be done to try to shrink the veins back including long periods of time with no period (using birth control to stop ovulation and bleeding), having a child, and then of course removing the Uterus completely. I have not seen very much info about this disorder on line or really anywhere. I don't know if this has helped you at all, but at least you know you are not alone in this. I am glad to find out that I am not alone. If you get any more info on this disorder could you forward it my way. Thanks.
