I'm a 25-year old female. I just quit smoking and have been taking generic wellbutrin and wearing nicoderm patches for two weeks with no side effects. Three days ago I started taking Yasmin, a birth control pill, as well as still using the wellbutrin and nicoderm patches. I took my first Yasmin pill Thursday around 7 pm. I took the pill again around 9 pm on Friday. Around 11 pm Friday night I got a few tiny painful bumps (hives?) on the bottom of my feet, which I didn't really think anything of. I woke up around 6 am on Saturday because of intense itching on my feet, although the bumps were gone. Although I've never had it before and the skin on my feet looks normal, my boyfriend told me I probably have athletes feet. So, he got me the foot spray. But, my feet continued to itch all day. I took another pill on Saturday night around 9 pm again. By 11 pm my hands were itching as bad as my feet. I woke up at 5:30 am today (Sunday) due to intense itching again. But now not only do my feet and hands itch, but my legs, neck and chest itch too. But, there is no visible rash. I feel like the inside of my skin is itching Is this a common side effect of the Yasmin or the combination of the medicines?
